Chong Kwan works primarily with photography, installations, video, sound and relational art, managing to create scenarios and environments unsettling theater through the accumulation of waste products, food scraps, materials found around and historical documents. His work explores the collective memory and the ambiguous relationship between reality, the knowledge, the implications of perverse mechanisms of contemporary fiction and myths of today's everyday life and focuses on current developments in tourism, planning and urbanization in relation to their impact on the landscape.
